Brazil’s capital, Brasilia, is a contemporary and planned city recognised for its distinctive architecture and urban planning. The Cathedral of Brasilia and the Three Powers Square, designed by renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, are two of the city’s most recognisable features.

The city has wide roads, large squares, and plenty of green space. It serves as a key political and administrative hub, hosting government agencies as well as international embassies. Braslia, with its unusual layout and modernist structures, combines art, culture, and governmental significance, making it an important emblem of Brazil’s development.

12 km south of city centre, Bus: R$2-4, line 11, 30, 102, Airport Executive Bus: R$12, line 113, 113.1 & 113.2, Taxi: from R$50-70 approx, Free shuttle for terminal transfers. Ride-services: Use Uber or 99. Fare varies based on distance and demand. 

Rodoviária Bus Terminal
Central Bus terminal, Connected by Public transport, buses from airport, Metro station -Shopping. Restaurants, public facilities are available here.

Getting around

Public Transport
public transport system consist of Buses and metro, which has 2 lines. Rodoviária is a major junction of Metro and bus terminal. which connects with airport by bus as well as Rio, Sao Paulo and other cities by buses. take about 10-15 hrs to reach the coastal cities.
Taxis and Uber are better way to travel in Brazil because of safety reasons and. fares are about R$5.5+2.5/km in the city.
