Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport
15 km southwest. Metro: CNY 5. Bus: CNY 2~5 to city, depends on distance. Bus: CNY 20~30 depends on distance. Taxi: CNY 60~100. 

Shanghai Railway Station
Major railway station, Trains across country and hong kong as well. Linked by public transport: metro and buses, Waiting rooms, toilets, luggage store are available ~CNY 10 /day.

Hongqiao Railway Station

South Railway Station

High Speed trains to Nanjing and few other cities. Linked by public transport: metro and buses. airport connection

Travelling in public transport is the best way to explore. avoid rush hours. Tickets are depend on travel distance. while buses are around *CNY 2, metro fares are CNY 3 or more. there are many ferry lines as well, costs are around CNY 2, Use Transportation card to get discount.
