Getting in

Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport
25 km north east of city centre. This is one of the biggest and a major airport of Paris. RER: 10.30€ to RER B stations, Bus: 12€ Shuttle bus (to Opera metro station) every 15-20 min, other bus options are about 6€ to different parts of the city. Taxi: 50-55€

Orly Airport
15 km South, there is no direct train connection. but easy to take RER from Orlyval(light rail, 6 mins). Bus: 8.50€ Orlybus(Denfert-Rochereau Metro station) every 10-15 min. there are several other options too like, Monorail connection to tram and bus, you can also use bus 183 for 2€ to Porte de Choisy from Orly. Taxi: 30-35€

Beauvais Airport
90 km north, This airport is in Beauvais city. No direct train connection, but you can take a train from Beauvais city railway station 5km (reach here by bus or taxi) to Paris Gare Du Nord station. Shuttle Bus: 17€ to Porte Maillot(depends on flight arrival), Taxi: 120€ (approximately)

Getting around

Public Transport
Public transport network in Paris is big and intensive. it is operated by RATP company which consists, Metro, Bus and urban trains (RER).

Can be purchased from automatic machines or ticket desks in stations, don’t be panic if you see only gates when you enter there are few only entry/exit gates in some stations, so try different entry. transport maps are found on bus stops and metro walls, also mini maps are available free at desks.

Paris transport are divided in different zones. zone 1-3 are central paris zone 1-5 are outer city which includes airport(seperate ticket if using airport bus) disneyland and versailles.

Tickets:  Single t+ ticket (Zone 1-3) 1,9 €, Valid for 90 mins after validation. inter transfers are allowed but transfer to different mode like bus-metro is not allowed. 10 single t+ ticket(Zone 1-3) 16,90 € /7,45 € (kids), Valid for 90 mins each after validation, other single ticket rules apply. 1 day pass(Zone 1-3) 12 €/6 € (kids), Unlimited use in public transport til 5:30 am(day starts/ends).
