Milan is a modern and sophisticated city. This unique Italian city has more than what you find in other Italian cities. Milan is the headquarters of Lombardy, which is the wealthiest region in Italy.

Milan is well known as the fashion capital of the world. Other than art and architecture its the business and banking hub of the country. recently Milan was the host of 2015 EXPO and 2016 UEFA champions league final.

The city is one of the best places to shop while walking around the historic center having gelato or spending your evening with aperitivo at Navigli.




Getting In & Around

Getting in

Malpensa Airport
50 km NW, This is one of the biggest and a major airport of Milan. Malpensa Exp: 13€ (to all the stations), Bus: €8-10 (to central station, right side) every 20-30 min from 3:45 – midnight, Taxi: 90€

Linate Airport
7 km (in city airport), It’s just on the east edge of Milan city. 73 Bus: €2 (single ticket public transport), No metro connection yet, but bus line works fine. very well connected to central station and other airports, Taxi: 20€ (approximately)

Bergamo Airport
50 km NE, It’s in Bergamo, Known as Orio al Serio. it’s a major Ryanair base, Bus: €6-7 (to central station, left side) every 20-30min and runs approximately 24hrs, There are no direct train connection like Malpensa so, one has to go to Bergamo Station to catch a train. Taxi: 80-90€

Milano Centrale
Central railway station/terminal, Connected by Green M2 and Yellow M3 line metro (underground) and night Bus service. Bus to Malpensa, Bergamo, and Linate airports. Malpensa Express (Malpensa airport train), Shopping and public facilities including bag deposit are available here.

Garibaldi Station
Milano Garibaldi Station is in Porta Nuova district of Milan around high-rise buildings. very well connected by Greenline M2 and driverless Violet M5, and night bus service. Malpensa Express(Malpensa airport Train)

Cadorna Station
Milano Cadorna station/Terminal is in the city center, just next to Parco Sempione, Castello Sforzesco. very well connected by Redline ghM1 and Greenline M2 metro (underground) and night Bus. Malpensa Express (Malpensa airport train)

Public Transport
Tickets: Single ticket* €2, 24 hrs ticket €7, 3 days ticket €12, Carnet 10 journeys €18.

*Unlimited bus and tram use, one metro and one suburban ride for 90 mins for single tickets, after validation in one of the machines in Bus or railway station or automatic gates in metro stations, it will print date and time.

Tickets can be purchased from automatic machines at stations, in tabacchi(tobacco/cigarettes) shops or ticket office in major stations, also from ATM app. valid for all transportation operated by ATM and Trenord Suburban trains within Milan city limits (city map in every station and most of the bus stops)

Note:  As per new tariff changes (15 july 2019), Milan has divided travel zones from city center. 
Single ticket includes 3 zones (Mi1-Mi3) which covers most of the city. For every other zone price increases by €0.40 on single ticket. for more information visit official website
