Adelaide is a charming city in South Australia with historic architecture, arts and culture, delicious food and wine, and beautiful beaches. Visitors can explore museums, galleries, and iconic landmarks, or indulge in local food and wine. Nearby natural attractions include the Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Island, and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Best time to visit is during the mild autumn and spring months of March to May or September to November, when temperatures are comfortable and outdoor activities are enjoyable. The city also hosts many cultural events and festivals during these seasons.

Getting Around

Public Transport – web: adelaidemetro.com.au Buses, Trains and trams are the public transport options in Adelaide. Peak hours: Before 9.01 am and after 3 pm on Monday to Friday and all day Saturday. Interpeak hours: 9.01 am to 3 pm on Monday to Friday and all day Sunday also on public holidays. Paper MetroTicket are available onboard a bus, tram and on Fare Vending Machines at major interchanges and popular locations. MetroCARD cost is free, A$5 starting balance.
Tickets: Single Metro ticket(2hrs) peak: A$5.80 interpeak: A$3.90, with MetroCARD peak: A$3.95 interpeak: A$2.20, DayTrip: A$11/5.50(reduced) valid till 4:30 am, metroCARD: 14 day pass: A$63.20/ 31.60(reduced) 28 day pass: A$105 / 52.50(reduced)

Visitors can take 3-Day Visitor Pass A$25.50 for unlimited travel in buses, trains and trams in the city metro network. you can buy it from Adelaide Metro InfoCentre at the Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace, Adelaide.
Cruise ship metroCARD is also available for A$10, which allows you to travel in buses, trains and trams in the network for one full day. you can get it from Outer Harbor railway station or Adelaide Metro InfoCentre at the Adelaide Railway Station. You need to have your cruise ship pass with you to buy or travel with this card. 

Students pay A$2.90 during peak or A$1.40 off-peak time for single ticket. with metroCARD its A$1.35 peak and A$1.05 off-peak. Daily ticket is A$5.50, 14day pass for A$15.80, 28 day pass for A$26
