Canberra Railway Station – hours: 5am-7pm, address: Wentworth Avenue, Burke Cres, Kingston ACT 2604, Australia, web: nswtrainlink.info. it is a small station but toilets are available. 

Jolimont Tourist Centre – bus terminal, Coaches to Sydney, Melbourne and other towns. Building has all services, shops, restaurants and Novotel as well.

Getting around

Public Transport: web: transport.act.gov.au. Cash tickets are available onboard a bus or at bus interchange. from ticket vending machines at major stops & all light rail platforms. MyWay cards are rechargeable top up cards and can save you money if you are visiting for few days. these cards are available at A$5

Off peak fares discounts between 9 am to 4:30 pm and after 6 pm on weekdays, also all day on weekends and holidays. Peak fares are before 9 am and between 4:30 to 6 pm on weekdays. no off peak discount on cash tickets.
