Salzburg is in the north western Austria. city is surrounded by Snow capped eastern Alps Mountains. With nature adding to old town and bridges on the Salzach river creates splendid city atmosphere. Altstadt or the Old city is popular for being the birth city of Mozart.

Salzburg Hauptbahnhof: Central railway station, Connected by Suburban trains, The S-Bahn to surrounding communities. City buses are just outside of the station. Public facilities and luggage lockers are available here.

Tickets can be purchased at tourist centers and ticket machines and tobacco shops, also from internet and App and also in the bus with an additional charge make sure to validate it before boarding. *some tickets are not available everywhere. please check the website for more information.

Festung Hohensalzburg
fort | take O-Bus lines 1, 3, 5 and 6, bus 25, 840 from the main station directly to city center, and then walk. about: Festung or Fortress Hohensalzburg is one of the largest 11th century castle complexes in Europe. It is rising high and overlooking the city near Salzach river. Climb up or take funicular to reach the top. view is spectacular.

Getreidegasse
street | open area. about: Getreidegasse is a busy street in center old town of Salzburg. As per history, this historical street was one of the first and important street since Roman era. Today it is lined up with beautiful shops. which includes international fashion brands, local restaurants. Between the stunning architecture of the Altstadt where once Mozart spend his childhood.

Schloss Hellbrunn
palace | take bus line 25 from main train station to Hellbrunn. about: Schloss Hellbrunn was built in the early 17th century (1613 -1619) as a summer pleasure palace by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg. The trick fountains and palace are open for visitors from April to October, while the park is open all year.

Schloss Mirabell
palace | about: The Prince-archbishop Wolf Dietrich of Salzburg built Mirabell Palace in 1606 for his beloved Salome Alt. Mirabell hall, which is connected by Angel Staircase. Mirabell hall used as weddings and ceremonies nowadays. Further Palace also has Mirabell gardens, these are beautifully landscaped later around 1690. opening hours: Mirabell Palace : 8 am-6 pm daily.
