Getting in

Kyoto does not operate any airport. It is about 50 km north of Osaka and hence, served by Osaka international airport and Kansai international airport. Trains and bus connections are good and it takes about an hour to reach Kyoto from Osaka.

Kansai International Airport:

Osaka International Airport – ITAMI:

Train: there are changes and options with monorail and buses, visit journey planner to find out best for you., Bus: fastest way is to use Airport Limousine Buses, takes about 50 to 55 minutes, costs about 1,340 yen, 670 yen(child) , Taxi: about 14,340 yen, shared taxi costs about 3500 yen

Kyoto Station:
